Hello my loves!
Today I wanted to give you all a sneak peak into how I develop my characters.
Alicia was the first character I fleshed out for The Stripper Diaries and she will always hold a very special place in my heart.
I want to give a quick shoutout to the beautiful Jodie Joe who provided the physical inspiration for this character.
I first saw this lovely lady on FashionNova.com where she models.

Mentally, Alicia is a naïve young lady, struggling to find her own path but is easily swayed by outside influences. Writing her character was fun, and challenging at the same time. I, at times found myself pitying the poor girl.
She often gets herself in situations that are easily avoidable and has a tendency to not think things all the way through.
You’ll be pleased to know that her story does not end in Diner Diva and Alicia will be seen many times again throughout The Stripper Diaries series where you’ll see her personal redemption and her mental growth.
And isn’t that what life is all about?
Growth.
We all make dumb decisions. Some more often than others. But life always gives you the opportunity to redeem yourself. It’s just up to us to take the steps needed to bloom into our full potential!
