Thank you for joining me for another SPOTLIGHT session!
Today I wanted to showcase Fire and Ice, the clubs recruiters who share a dark secret that bonds them together for life.
I wrote these two originally as good friends but as I got deeper into the story I realized that Fire and Ice’s connection is a lot deeper than friendship.
I’m in the early stages of penning their story, Goonie Girls...

Goonie Girls is my first attempt at writing dark fiction and Fire & Ice are the most ruthless characters I’ve ever written.
No one at the club knows that these two girls have a lucrative side hustle that they have been perfecting since they were in middle school.
Growing up in the same house has its advantages.
Yes. Fire & Ice are sisters - well, step-sisters.
Ice’s father married Fire’s mother when they were about eight years old. Their love for one another wasn’t immediate, in fact, they had many power struggles early in their relationship. But they soon found their common ground and built a strong foundation on the shared love they have for their parents.
This dynamic duo has been joined at the hip for many years and writing for them has been a roller coaster ride of emotions.
One of my favorite things about writing this book series is that each character will get a chance to tell their story. It gives me the opportunity to explore different voices and bring out feelings and emotions I never knew I had.
I have a feeling you all are going to enjoy this!!
